Frequently asked questions

Including the ones we cannot answer yet, marked as such. Where a thing is designed but not built, this page says so in the answer rather than in a footnote.

The basics

Is Miracle free?

Yes. The user pays nothing, ever — no wallet, no purchase, no equipment, no subscription at launch.

Merchants fund the offers you redeem. That works because an incremental visit is worth more to a business than an untargeted discount: the merchant spends marginal cost on a customer who came because of the offer, instead of face value on one who was coming anyway.

Do I need crypto?

No. Miracle is not a crypto product. There is no token and no coin — nothing to buy, nothing to hold, nothing to trade, and nothing on a blockchain. Not to join, not to earn, not to redeem.

“We don’t start with crypto. We start with people.”

Amit Mehta, idea owner — 2026-09-16

Do I need a wallet?

No. There is no wallet to connect and no wallet app to install. Miracle Stars sit in your Miracle account, and you redeem them with a merchant. That is the entire mechanism.

Do I need a particular phone, a watch, or any equipment?

No. Walking is the on-ramp precisely because it needs no equipment, no membership and no change of habit. The app is being built for Android and iPhone; nothing else is required.

Will it drain my battery?

We do not have a number, and we are not going to invent one. The app that would do the measuring is designed and not yet built, so there is nothing real to measure.

The design intent is that the heavy processing of an activity happens after you finish moving, not while you move. When there is a measured figure, this answer will carry it.

What if I don’t have an email address?

You can register with a phone number instead of an email address. That door exists for exactly this reason — plenty of the people who should be able to join do not use email.

Mobile numbers from any country are supported. Pick your country code from the list, or type the number in full with its country code. If a number is refused and you think it should not be, write to team@miracle.technology and we will sort it out by hand.

Miracle Stars

What is a Miracle Star?

A Miracle Star (MS) is a closed-loop reward unit — eligibility for a merchant offer. Your activity settles into Miracle Stars, and Miracle Stars get you offers from businesses near you.

Two rules we would rather you knew now than discovered later:

  • Unredeemed Miracle Stars expire, lot by lot and with warnings. An unwarned expiry reads as a scam, and it would be one.
  • A balance you already hold is never devalued. If the economics have to tighten, we cut the forward earning rate — not the Miracle Stars already in your account.

What is a Miracle Star worth?

There is no published exchange rate, and there is not going to be one. Miracle Stars are deliberately not a currency and deliberately not pegged: not money, not convertible, and with no exchange rate between markets.

“I would not make one Miracle Star equal one unit of currency.”

Amit Mehta — 2026-09-18, adopted verbatim as the rule on pricing

Stated plainly, so nobody has to guess: a discount and a nudge. Not an income.

What can I redeem?

Offers from real local businesses — the kind that map onto how people actually move: cafés and restaurants, gyms and wellness, outdoor and sports shops, trekking and hospitality.

Every redemption is Miracle Stars plus a qualifying purchase, never Miracle Stars alone for a discount. That is what makes each redemption a real sale for the merchant, and it is why a merchant can afford to fund the next offer.

Being straight about where this stands: no merchant is signed yet. There is no catalogue to browse today, and this answer describes the design rather than a shop you can visit.

Moving and earning

Which activities count?

Four at launch:

Walk Run Hike Trek

Walk is the floor — the thing everybody already does. Run adds route, pace and cadence. Hike adds ascent. Trek is the differentiator.

What is the difference between Hike and Trek?

Hike is distance plus ascent, measured with your phone’s barometer and a terrain model. Trek is hiking above a threshold, with its own reward row, its own cap and its own challenges.

The threshold is not set yet. It is an open decision, and we are not going to put a number on this page before it is made. Ascent is the hardest of the four signals to forge and the most expensive to reward, so it is worth getting right rather than fast.

Joining now

What do I get for joining now?

A place in the founding cohort — the first 1,000. That carries a Founding ID at signup, a badge and tier that persist, early access, exclusive offers, and a higher daily earning cap.

A cap, deliberately, and never a permanent multiplier on the base rate. Same felt generosity, bounded liability — a multiplier compounds with every exploit upstream and makes early members impossible to catch up with.

Founding registration reserves 500 Miracle Stars for you now, ready to use when Miracle launches. The second half of that sentence is the load-bearing half: registration itself grants no balance, no value and no entitlement.

About founding members

How does referral work?

You get a link as soon as you register. Credit attaches to the link rather than to any identifier the person you invited has to type.

It pays on the referee’s activity over seven and thirty days — never on the install. Paying on installs is how this whole category got farmed; paying on real movement cannot be, because the thing being paid for has to actually happen first.

Like the rest of the earning system, referral is designed and not yet built.

Launch

When does it launch?

Miracle is coming live in January 2027.

January 2027 is the month we are building to. Founding members are the first into the app when it opens.

Where the build actually is today: the app and server skeletons, sign-in, and both store channels are real and were hard-won. The activity engine — the actual product — is designed and not started. Zero users, zero merchants, zero revenue.

Where will Miracle be available?

Wherever you move. Miracle is built on one global ledger from day one, so a new market is a matter of merchant partners joining, never a migration of your balance.

Launch goes market by market as merchant partners join. Density is what closes the loop — cafés, trekking companies, gyms and outdoor shops close to where people walk, run, hike and trek — so one well-covered neighbourhood beats a thin presence across a wide area.

Miracle comes live in January 2027. No launch market is committed yet, and no merchant is signed. Pre-registration is open to anyone, anywhere.

Your data

What data do you collect?

On this website, only what you type into a form: your name, an email address or a phone number, the interest you pick, and an optional referral code — plus a record of the consent you gave, which version of the wording you agreed to, and the time our server received it.

No payment details, ever. There is nothing here to pay for.

Your IP address is not passed on with your details. The abuse limit needs to tell one visitor from another, not to know who you are, so it works from a one-way hash made with a secret that is regenerated every time the service restarts.

Read the privacy notice

Do you track my location?

This website does not, and it could not quietly start. There is no analytics tag, no advertising pixel and no social tracker on any page — the site is served with a policy that refuses third-party scripts outright, so there is nothing of that kind to switch off.

The app will need to read your movement data to count your activities and turn them into Miracle Stars. There is no app release to describe yet; when there is, this page and the privacy notice will describe it before it ships, not after.
